Sheikh Mahmoud Khalil Al-Hossari

Birth: Sheikh Mahmoud Al-Sayed Ali Khalil Al-Hosary was born on 17 September, 1917. In the village of Shubra Al-Namla, in the city of Tanta, in the Gharbia Governorate

He memorized the Holy Quran at the age of eight, and completed his recitation at the age of ten.

He joined the Ahmadi Mosque in Tanta, and received the ten readings of the scholar Sheikh Ibrahim Salem, Sheikh of the readers of the Ahmadi Mosque, until he obtained the universal in the sciences of readings.

During his visit to the State of Kuwait, he found Qur'ans that the Jews had altered, so he confronted the Zionists' faults, and made the first audio collection of the Holy Qur'an.

Biography of His Eminence Sheikh Al-Husri

He received the ten recitations from the scholar Sheikh Ibrahim Salam, Sheikh of the reciters of the Ahmadi Mosque

During his visit to the State of Kuwait, he found Qurans that had been distorted by the Jews, so he confronted the Zionists' tricks, and he made the first audio collection of the Holy Quran.

In 1963 AD, he was appointed Chairman of the Qur’an Review Committee at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif

In 1967, he was appointed as an expert at the Islamic Research Academy, the Council of Senior Scholars for the Affairs of the Holy Qur’an.

He was awarded the Science and Arts Medal of the first class on the Flag Day.

The first in the world to document the Noble Qur’an with a voice, and compiled it recited with multiple narrations (Hafs, Warsh, Qalon, Al-Duri and the Muallem Qur’an)

He traveled the world to spread the Noble Qur’an and its sciences, and many converted to Islam at his hands, especially in America and Europe.
